Journey Home: Support for those navigating the challenges of death and dying
Provides compassionate support for those navigating the challenges of death and dying. I'm here to offer guidance and care to you and your loved ones, no matter where you are on this personal journey.
From the moment we are born, we begin a journey towards our final home. A journey mixed with moments of great joy, sorrow, and everything in between. My passion lies in supporting people to live life fully until their last breath.
Today, many of us lack the practical knowledge and emotional tools needed to deal with death and loss. Many people struggle to talk to someone who is very ill and facing death. And many people are at a loss as to how to face their own death, or even how to navigate the practical arrangements such as thinking about their funeral. I am passionate about helping people and communities re-discover this knowledge. Knowledge that once was common and every day.
I am a qualified counsellor and a proud associate member of the End of Life Doula Alliance Aotearoa. I have worked in the health sector for more than two decades.

Join in a hosted conversation about death and dying at DEATH CAFÉ KAPITI
Free event
Death Café is a worldwide movement that provides a welcoming, respectful, and confidential space to talk openly about death. It is a discussion group, rather than a grief support or counselling session.
There are no experts—we leave our professional identities at the door and meet simply as individuals who are all, one day, going to die. In talking about death we believe it allows people to fully live their lives.

There is no charge to attend Death Café. Meetings are held on the Kapiti Coast
